A Perfect Crime is a 1998 thriller by Peter Abrahams, author of The Fan and Lights Out. Stephen King has called Abrahams his favorite American suspense novelist. Nat and his new friends, the twin sisters Grace and Izzie Zorn, plan what seems a harmless scheme for quick cash: a fake crisis aimed at an arrogant billionaire who will hardly notice the loss. Nothing bad is supposed to happen. But someone in the shadows is listening, with a far more dangerous plan of his own.
