"All Labor Has Dignity" (2011) collects speeches by Martin Luther King Jr. on labor rights and economic justice, edited and introduced by historian Michael K. Honey. The speeches run from the late 1950s, when King addressed union conventions about the shared interests of the labor and civil rights movements, to his final campaign with striking sanitation workers in Memphis in 1968. Honey's introductions place each speech in its historical setting.
