Journalists Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli trace how Steve Jobs grew from a reckless young founder into a mature leader. Their book was published in 2015. They focus on the years after Jobs left Apple in 1985, when he founded NeXT and built Pixar, and show how he learned to manage people, budgets and products before returning to Apple. Schlender draws on his many years of covering Jobs, and this edition adds a foreword by Marc Andreessen and an afterword by the authors.
