Blamed and Broken, by CBC journalist Curt Petrovich, is a 2011 book about the death of Robert Dziekanski, a Polish immigrant who died after RCMP officers used a Taser on him at Vancouver International Airport in October 2007. Bystander video of the incident caused outrage across Canada and led to a public inquiry. Petrovich examines the case, including the experience of the four officers involved and the questions it raised about training, leadership and accountability in the RCMP.
