Brave New World
By Aldous Huxley
Categories: Literature & Fiction
In the World State, babies are grown in bottles, everyone is conditioned from birth to love their assigned place in society, and a drug called soma takes care of any unhappiness. Stability is everything, and individual freedom is gone. Bernard Marx, an outsider who doesn't quite fit in, visits a "Savage Reservation" and brings back a young man named John, who has grown up reading Shakespeare. Aldous Huxley's 1932 novel asks what we give up in exchange for comfort.

- Ben Shapiro: “Aldous Huxley's Brave New World represents perhaps the scariest form of utopia: the utopia so many people seem to crave.”
- PewDiePie: “I love this book. I think it's a masterpiece, 5 out of 5. It's an incredible piece of literature. I could not recommend this enough.”
