Caddyshack: The Making of a Hollywood Cinderella Story
By Chris Nashawaty

In Caddyshack (2018), entertainment journalist Chris Nashawaty tells the chaotic behind-the-scenes story of the 1980 golf comedy, from the National Lampoon and Second City talent who made it to a disorderly, drug-fuelled shoot in Florida. He follows Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and others, and uses the film to trace the rise of a new generation of American screen comedy that grew out of magazines, improv stages and late-night television.

- Edgar Wright: “Mr @ChrisNashawaty has written a book that is a) about the making of 'Caddyshack' that also manages to be about b) all film comedy. Required reading whether you are a fan of the movie or not. I devoured it & recommend you do too.”
