Computer Lib
By Ted Nelson
Categories: Computers & Technology
Ted Nelson's self-published 1974 manifesto, which argued that computers belong to everyone and not just to a corporate and academic priesthood. Printed as two books bound back to back, Computer Lib and Dream Machines, it explains computing to lay readers and sets out Nelson's visions of hypertext and interactive media; it is often called the first personal computer book.
