Dying of the Light
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
Dirk t'Larien travels to Worlorn, a rogue planet drifting away from the suns that briefly warmed it, after receiving a token from Gwen, the woman who left him years before. He finds her bound by custom to Jaan Vikary, a man from the warrior culture of High Kavalaan. As Worlorn slides into darkness, Dirk is caught in a deadly conflict among its few remaining inhabitants. It was George R. R. Martin's first novel.
