Ender's Game
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
Orson Scott Card's 1985 science fiction novel imagines a future Earth that has survived two invasions by an insect-like alien species and fears a third. To find a commander, the military recruits gifted children for Battle School, an orbiting academy where they train through increasingly difficult war games, some in zero gravity. Six-year-old Andrew "Ender" Wiggin is pushed harder than anyone, isolated by his teachers as they test whether he can become the leader humanity needs.
