A sequel to Palm Sunday, this 1991 book is subtitled An Autobiographical Collage of the 1980s, and it again mixes speeches, essays and letters with new commentary. He returned to his family and to his captivity in Dresden during its firebombing, described a 1989 trip to war-torn Mozambique for the relief agency CARE, and set out his views on religion, humanism, war and the habits of his country.
