Flow
Categories: Self-Help
Psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi argues that the most satisfying moments in life come in a state he calls flow, when people are fully absorbed in a challenging activity and lose track of time and self. Drawing on years of research into what he calls optimal experience, his 1990 book shows that flow need not be left to chance. Csikszentmihalyi explains how ordering what enters consciousness, through work, play and relationships, can make everyday life more enjoyable and meaningful.
