Greenlights
Categories: Biographies & Memoirs
Actor Matthew McConaughey's memoir draws on diaries he kept for more than thirty years, filled with notes on successes and failures, joys and sorrows. He tells stories from his Texas childhood, his travels and his Hollywood career, and the lessons he took from them. McConaughey calls the moments when life says go "greenlights," and argues that with the right approach, the red and yellow lights we meet can eventually turn green. The book mixes anecdotes, poems and personal philosophy.
