When the youngest son of international arms dealer Alexander Ramos is shot and his body burned, the prime suspect is Ranger, Stephanie Plum's mentor and more than a friend, who was caught on video at the scene minutes before the crime. Teaming up with Trenton cop Joe Morelli, Stephanie must test her skills against the man who taught her everything she knows about catching fugitives, and decide whether she could turn him in. This is the sixth book in Janet Evanovich's series.
