I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew
By Dr. Seuss
Categories: Children's Books
Dr. Seuss's 1965 picture book in verse introduces a young creature who lives happily in the Valley of Vung until troubles beset him, from a fall to biting pests. When he hears of Solla Sollew, a city on the banks of the River Wah-Hoo where there are very few troubles, he sets off to find it. The journey brings fresh hardships, including a sick camel, a flood and an army that drafts him, and makes him rethink how to face trouble.

- Richard Branson: “I have been reading a lot of books by one of my favourite authors, Dr Seuss... There is more wisdom and humour in his cartoons and rhymes than in any number of lengthy and highbrow books.”
