Insane City is a 2013 comic novel by Dave Barry, the Pulitzer Prize-winning humor columnist. Seth Weinstein arrives in Miami for his wedding to his wealthy, beautiful fiancee, Tina, but a chaotic bachelor weekend sends everything off the rails. What follows involves a lost wedding ring, a Haitian refugee mother and her children, an orangutan, Russian strippers and a Florida python. Barry's farce satirizes Miami excess while giving Seth a chance to discover what he really wants.
