Latitude Zero is a 1997 adventure thriller by British writer Windsor Chorlton. It was published in London by Orion and has been described as a cross between Jurassic Park and Lord of the Flies. An airship chartered by militant environmentalists and their rock star backer ditches in a tropical storm off Sumatra, marooning a mismatched group on an island with no supplies. They split into ecowarriors and those who will survive by any means, and conflict and a rogue tiger reduce their number.
