Little Fires Everywhere (Movie Tie-In)
By Celeste Ng
Categories: Literature & Fiction
Celeste Ng's 2017 novel is set in Shaker Heights, a planned, progressive suburb of Cleveland where everything runs by the rules, and no one follows them more faithfully than Elena Richardson. When Mia Warren, an artist and single mother with a guarded past, rents a house from the Richardsons with her teenage daughter, Pearl, all four Richardson children are drawn to the pair. Then a custody fight over a Chinese-American baby divides the town and puts Mia and Elena on opposite sides.
