London Falling: A Mysterious Death in a Gilded City and a Family's Search for Truth is a work of investigative nonfiction by Patrick Radden Keefe, the New Yorker staff writer and author of Say Nothing and Empire of Pain. It examines the death of 19-year-old Zac Brettler, who fell from a riverside building in London in 2019. His parents discovered that he had posed as the son of a Russian oligarch and become involved with dangerous people. Keefe follows their search for answers and the dirty money flowing through London.
