Love & Respect is a 2004 book by Emerson Eggerichs, a pastor and founder of Love and Respect Ministries, about communication in marriage based on a passage in the Bible's letter to the Ephesians. Eggerichs argues that wives most need to feel loved and husbands most need to feel respected, and that unmet needs set off a cycle he calls the Crazy Cycle. He describes how couples can break the pattern through an Energizing Cycle and a Rewarded Cycle, using examples from his ministry and conferences.
