Mrs Armitage on Wheels (1987) by Quentin Blake is a comic picture book about a woman and her bicycle. Mrs. Armitage sets off for a quiet ride with her faithful dog, Breakspear, but she cannot stop thinking of ways to improve her bike. She adds three loud horns, a bucket of water for washing her hands, a tool kit, a seat for Breakspear, two umbrellas and more, until her bicycle becomes impossible to miss.
