No No Baby (2023) by Anne Hunter is a picture book about a baby squirrel and its forest neighbors. Each morning, Baby is wide awake and excited to leap, eat and see all the other animals in the forest. The other animals are less excited. One day, a frustrated owl says something harsh, and Baby hides away at home, leaving the forest animals to notice how quiet things have become.
