Nobody's Angel is a crime novel by Jack Clark, a Chicago cab driver who first self-published an earlier version and sold copies to his passengers. Eddie Miles is a veteran cabbie who knows every street of the city and works the night shift. Two killers are loose in Chicago: one is murdering cab drivers, the other attacking women who work the streets. Eddie, who takes the city's violence personally, is drawn into the hunt after he witnesses one of them at work.

- Quentin Tarantino: “My favorite fiction novel this year was written by a taxi driver who used to hand it out to his passengers. It’s a terrific story and character study of a cabbie in Chicago during a time when a serial killer is robbing and murdering cabbies.”
