Now We Are Six (1927) is A. A. Milne's second collection of children's poems, illustrated by E. H. Shepard and written with his son Christopher Robin in mind. Thirty-five verses follow a child's world of play, illness, animals and growing up, from "Sneezles" and "Us Two" to "The End," in which a six-year-old decides to stay that age forever. Eleven poems bring in Winnie-the-Pooh, and the book followed When We Were Very Young and the first Pooh novel.
