Bodies are turning up in shallow graves on the empty construction lot of Vincent Plum Bail Bonds, and Stephanie Plum's name appears on the killer's list. Her family and friends also decide she must choose between Trenton cop Joe Morelli and Ranger. Her mother favors a former football star newly back in town, and Morelli's grandmother puts "the eye" on her. Her capture list holds a dancing bear and a senior citizen vampire in this seventeenth book in Janet Evanovich's series.
