Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton
Categories: Religion & Spirituality
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton received a daily devotion from her pastor, the Reverend Bill Shillady, and other pastors. This 2017 collection gathers 365 of those readings, chosen from over six hundred written across twenty months. Organized into twelve themes, including courage and hope, the entries are paired with notes, speech excerpts and headlines that set each day in context. Clinton contributes a foreword. In September 2017 Abingdon Press withdrew the book, saying a review had found passages that were not properly attributed.
