Categories: Literature & Fiction
Summer Snow (2020) is a collection of poems by Robert Hass, the American poet and translator who served as U.S. poet laureate from 1995 to 1997. The poems mix memory, elegy and observation, including tributes to friends who have died, reflections on ageing, landscapes of California and meditations on violence and the environment. Hass moves between short lyrics, long poems and prose pieces, often drawing on his reading and his life in Berkeley.
