Survivor is a 1997 novel by Tabitha King, author of Small World and The Book of Reuben, set in Maine. It is a departure from her earlier novels set in the fictional town of Nodd's Ridge. Kissy Mellors, a photography student at Sowerwine College, witnesses an accident in which a drunk driver kills one student and leaves another in a coma. In the years after, she becomes involved with three men tied to that night: the victim's hockey-star boyfriend, the drunk driver, and a campus police officer.
