Tarzan and the Golden Lion

By Edgar Rice Burroughs

Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy

Tarzan raises a lion cub, Jad-bal-ja, in Tarzan and the Golden Lion (1923), then goes back to Opar and its treasure vaults. He finds himself opposed by a band of fortune hunters led by Flora Hawkes, once a maid in his household, who hires a Spanish actor who looks exactly like Tarzan to help steal the gold. The chase leads to the Valley of the Palace of Diamonds, ruled by a race of gorilla-men.
