Tarzan and the Lost Empire
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
Tarzan searches for Erich von Harben, the son of a German missionary-explorer, who has vanished in the mountains in Tarzan and the Lost Empire (1929). The trail leads to a hidden valley where two rival cities, Castra Sanguinarius and Castrum Mare, still keep the language, politics and customs of ancient Rome. Tarzan and Erich are thrown into its arena to fight as gladiators, while plots against the emperor unfold.
