Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
A hidden valley where the descendants of medieval crusaders still live as knights is the setting of Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle (1928). Its two cities, Nimmr and the Sepulcher, have fought each other for centuries. Tarzan arrives on the trail of James Hunter Blake, a young American who has wandered into the valley, while also dealing with Ibn Jad, an Arab treasure hunter whose raiders threaten the region.
