Tarzan the Terrible
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
Still searching for Jane, Tarzan crosses a swamp into Pal-ul-don in Tarzan the Terrible (1921), a hidden valley whose two races of tailed humans share the land with surviving dinosaurs. Hailed by some as the son of their god, he becomes entangled in the valley's religious and political rivalries, with priests, kings and rebels all seeking to use him. Burroughs gave the people of Pal-ul-don their own invented language.
