Categories: Literature & Fiction

Kate Telman is a senior executive in the Business, a discreet commercial organization whose origins predate the Christian Church and which once, briefly, owned the Roman Empire. Now it plans to buy a small Himalayan state to gain a seat at the United Nations. As she works on the plan and looks into colleagues who may be stealing from the firm, Kate begins to question the organization that raised her and where her loyalties lie.
