The Crossing is a 2015 crime novel by Michael Connelly. Retired LAPD detective Harry Bosch reluctantly agrees to help his half-brother, defense attorney Mickey Haller, investigate a murder case in which Haller believes his client was framed. Crossing over to the defense side, Bosch is seen as a traitor by former colleagues. As he digs into the killing of a West Hollywood city official, he uncovers evidence that points toward corrupt police officers and puts his own life in danger.
