The Fabric of Reality
Categories: Science & Math
In this 1997 book, physicist David Deutsch argues that four theories, taken together, form a single explanation of reality. His four strands are Hugh Everett's many-worlds interpretation of quantum physics, Karl Popper's theory of knowledge, Alan Turing's theory of computation and the theory of evolution as refined by Richard Dawkins. Deutsch explores how these ideas connect, from the multiverse to quantum computers, and argues that human ideas and actions play an essential role in the fabric of reality.
