Categories: Law
The Family Roe (2021) is journalist Joshua Prager's history of the 1973 Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade and the people connected to it. Prager centres the story on Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe of the case, and the daughter whose conception led to it, drawing on years of interviews and McCorvey's papers. He also traces the lawyers, activists and families on both sides of the abortion debate, showing how the case shaped American life.
