The Founder's Dilemmas
Categories: Business & Money
The Founder's Dilemmas, by Harvard Business School professor Noam Wasserman, was published in 2012 and is based on his data from about ten thousand founders of technology and life sciences startups. Wasserman examines decisions founders make early on, whether to found alone or with others, how to split equity, whom to hire, and how to raise money, and shows the tradeoff between keeping control and building a valuable company, often summarized as 'rich versus king'.
