The Lion's Gate: On the Front Lines of the Six Day War (2014) is a book by Steven Pressfield, author of Gates of Fire and The Legend of Bagger Vance, published by Sentinel. Pressfield calls it a "hybrid history" of the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, built from interviews and published accounts and told in first-person voices – Israeli pilots who struck Arab airfields on the first day, soldiers in the Sinai, paratroopers who took Jerusalem's Old City – alongside reconstructed passages in the voice of Moshe Dayan, Israel's minister of defense.

- Lex Fridman: “Also his books Gates of Fire, about the Spartans and the Battle of Thermopylae, The Lion's Gate, Tides of War, and others are some of the best historical fiction novels ever written.”
