The Master Mind of Mars
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
Ulysses Paxton, an American soldier wounded in World War I, is carried to Mars as John Carter was in The Master Mind of Mars (1928). He wakes in the laboratory of Ras Thavas, an aged surgeon who transplants brains between bodies for profit. Paxton becomes his assistant and learns his methods. He then uses that knowledge to help Valla Dia, a young woman whose body has been sold to an old queen.
