The Monster Men
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
Professor Arthur Maxon withdraws to a remote island off Borneo in The Monster Men (1929) to create life in his laboratory. He hopes to produce a perfect husband for his daughter, Virginia. His experiments produce deformed and violent creatures instead, and the island becomes a battleground as pirates and headhunters arrive. One of his creations, known only as Number Thirteen, seems different from the rest.
