The Quarry

By Iain Banks

Categories: Literature & Fiction

Kit, eighteen, lives in a crumbling house beside a quarry with his father, Guy, who is dying of cancer. Kit sees the world differently from most people and finds social life baffling. When Guy's old university friends arrive for a last weekend together, they are also hunting for a mysterious videotape they made as students. The Quarry was Banks's final novel, published in June 2013, shortly after his death that month.
