The Right Side of History

In The Right Side of History (2019), commentator Ben Shapiro argues that Western freedom and prosperity rest on two foundations: Judeo-Christian values, from Jerusalem, and Greek reason and natural law, from Athens. Shapiro moves through more than three thousand years of history and philosophy to trace how those ideas shaped science, progress, human rights and American democracy. He argues that the West is abandoning them for tribalism, hedonism and moral subjectivism, and that renewing them is the remedy.
