The Sherlockian
By Graham Moore
Categories: Literature & Fiction
Graham Moore's first novel interweaves two mysteries a century apart. In 2010, literary researcher Harold White has just been inducted into the Baker Street Irregulars, the Sherlock Holmes society, when Alex Cale, the scholar who claims to have found Arthur Conan Doyle's missing diary from 1900, is found murdered in his hotel room. Harold investigates both the killing and the vanished diary. In alternating chapters, Conan Doyle and his friend Bram Stoker hunt a murderer in late-Victorian London.
