The White Pill: A Tale of Good and Evil (2022) is a book by the Ukrainian-American author and podcaster Michael Malice. Malice recounts the history of Soviet communism from its rise to its collapse, describing repression, the Gulag, show trials and the Holodomor, the man-made famine in Ukraine, along with Western figures such as Walter Duranty who concealed or denied it. He presents the fall of the Soviet Union as a reason for hope that tyranny can be overcome.

- Lex Fridman: “It was a truly incredible book. It's basically a story of evil in the 20th century, and throughout it you reveal a thread that gives us hope, and that's the idea of the white pill.”
