Vladimir (2022) is the debut novel of American playwright Julia May Jonas, narrated by an English professor at a small liberal arts college. As her husband, also a professor, faces accusations over past relationships with students, the narrator becomes obsessed with Vladimir, a younger novelist who has just joined the faculty with his wife. Her fixation leads her into increasingly reckless choices.
