Your Erroneous Zones
By Wayne Dyer
Categories: Self-Help
Your Erroneous Zones (1976) was psychologist Wayne Dyer's first book for general readers. It identifies self-defeating patterns of thought and behaviour that keep people from living fully. Dyer devotes chapters to habits such as guilt, worry, seeking approval, procrastination and dependence on the past, which he calls erroneous zones. Arguing that people choose their emotions, he offers exercises for recognising these patterns and replacing them with self-reliance and present-moment living.
