Charles Phan

Charles Phan won the James Beard Award for Best Chef: California in 2004 and opened The Slanted Door, his Vietnamese restaurant in San Francisco, in 1995. Born in Vietnam in 1962, he wrote Vietnamese Home Cooking (2012) and The Slanted Door (2014).
