Robert Coram has had a long career as a reporter, staff and freelance writer, and author. His writing has appeared in many publications, including the Atlanta Gazette, Atlanta Magazine, the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, and Esquire. As an author, he has published three nonfiction books and seven novels, as well as Boyd: The Fighter Pilot Who Changed the Art of War.
